To provide a framework for granting scholarships and freeships, ensuring equitable educational opportunities for deserving students and promoting inclusivity in higher education.
This policy covers the financial aid in the form of scholarships and freeships to students of RISE Krishna Sai Gandhi Group of Institutions based on their financial background and academic merits.
RISE Krishna Sai Gandhi Group of Institutions is committed to ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder a deserving student's ambition for quality engineering education. With the collaboration of Andhra Pradesh Government and institutional provisions, we aim to ease the financial burden on our students.
Students whose family income is below INR 2,00,000 per annum are eligible for this scholarship.
Proof of family income should be submitted during the application process.
Eligible students will receive full fee reimbursement from the Andhra Pradesh Government.
In addition to the fee reimbursement, they will also receive INR 20,000 as "Vasathi Deevena" to cover hostel or transport expenses.
Students should fill out the government scholarship form available at the institution or the state scholarship portal.
Necessary documents, primarily income certificates, should be attached.
The institution will verify and forward the applications to the concerned government department.
Students not covered under the government scholarship but facing financial hardships are eligible to apply.
Academic merit and participation in co-curricular activities will be considered.
Partial or full waiver of tuition fees, as recommended by the college finance committee.
The number of freeships awarded will be subject to the discretion of the finance committee and the availability of funds.
Interested students should fill out the institutional freeship application form available at the finance office.
Attach necessary documents, such as family income proof and academic records.
The college finance committee will review the applications, conduct interviews if necessary, and decide on the freeships.
Oversee the application process for institutional freeships.
Evaluate the applications based on the set criteria and make final decisions.
Coordinate with the government bodies for the scholarship process.
Ensure timely submission of accurate application forms with the necessary documents.
Inform the institution about any changes in financial circumstances.
Provide necessary support in the application process.
Assist in the verification of documents and forwarding of applications to relevant authorities.
This policy will be reviewed biennially to accommodate any changes in government regulations, institutional provisions, and the evolving needs of students.
