To develop a consistent, institution-wide culture of quality by channelling all quality-related activities — academic, administrative and infrastructural — into a single, documented, continuously improving system, in line with UGC and NAAC guidelines.

1. Planning and Coordination:
   • Strategic Planning: The IQAC develops and implements strategies for quality enhancement in line with the institution's vision and mission.
   • Coordination: It coordinates various quality-related activities within the institution.
2. Quality Assurance (QA) and Enhancement (QE):
   • Monitoring and Evaluation: The IQAC monitors the effectiveness of quality assurance measures and suggests improvements.
   • Promoting Excellence: It fosters an environment of academic excellence by encouraging innovative teaching, research, and learning practices.
3. Self-Evaluation and Accountability:
   • Self-Assessment: The IQAC promotes self-evaluation among faculty, staff, and students.
   • Accountability: It ensures transparency and accountability in institutional processes.
4. Quality-Related Research and Training:
   • Research Studies: The IQAC conducts research on quality-related issues in higher education.
   • Training Programs: It organizes training sessions for faculty and staff to enhance their skills.
5. Collaboration and Networking:
   • Stakeholder Engagement: The IQAC collaborates with various stakeholders, including students, alumni, industry, and community.
   • Networking: It connects with other institutions and agencies for knowledge sharing and best practices.
6. Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR):
   • AQAR: The IQAC prepares and submits the AQAR to accrediting bodies (such as NAAC) annually.
   • The AQAR reflects the institution's progress, initiatives, and quality enhancement efforts.
7. Composition of the IQAC:
   • The IQAC consists of members from various departments, including faculty, administrative staff, and external experts.

1. Development and Implementation of Quality Benchmarks: Establish and implement quality benchmarks and performance indicators for engineering programs, research activities, and administrative processes.
2. Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS): Facilitate the development and documentation of an Internal Quality Assurance System tailored to engineering education, encompassing strategies, processes, and mechanisms for quality assurance.
3. Accreditation Preparation: Prepare the institution for accreditation by external accrediting bodies specific to engineering education, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and criteria.
4. Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, analyze, and utilize data related to academic performance, faculty quality, student feedback, and research outcomes in engineering disciplines. Use data to identify areas for improvement.
5. Quality Enhancement Initiatives: Plan and implement quality enhancement initiatives specifically designed for engineering education, including curriculum development, faculty development, and state-of-the-art infrastructure.
6. Professional Development: Organize workshops, seminars, and training programs focused on engineering education to enhance the skills and knowledge of faculty and staff in engineering disciplines.
7. Student Support and Success: Monitor and improve student support services within engineering programs to ensure that students receive academic guidance, counseling, and resources essential for academic success.
8. Infrastructure and Laboratories: Oversee the availability, maintenance, and quality of engineering laboratories and facilities to support effective teaching, learning, and research in engineering disciplines.
9. Research and Innovation Promotion: Promote research and innovation within engineering programs, encouraging faculty and students to engage in research activities and contribute to technological advancements.
10. Industry Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration with the engineering industry, including internships, projects, and partnerships, to ensure that engineering programs are industry-relevant and students gain practical experience.
11. Policy Formulation and Review: Contribute to the formulation and review of institutional policies specific to engineering education to align with evolving engineering standards and practices.
12. Quality Promotion and Awareness: Promote awareness about quality assurance within engineering education, fostering a quality-conscious environment among students, faculty, and staff.
13. Stakeholder Feedback Integration: Gather feedback from stakeholders, including engineering students, engineering faculty, alumni, and engineering employers, and incorporate their recommendations to improve engineering programs and services.
14. Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of quality enhancement measures in engineering education, making adjustments as needed to ensure sustained and enhanced quality standards.
15. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain records of quality-related activities in engineering education and prepare reports, including engineering program assessments and accreditation documentation.
