Policy on Admissions

Admissions Policy for RISE Krishna Sai Gandhi Group of Institutions — the framework for admitting students to undergraduate and postgraduate engineering programs.

1. Purpose

The purpose of this Admission Policy is to provide a fair, transparent, and equitable framework for admitting students to undergraduate and postgraduate engineering programs at RISE Krishna Sai Gandhi Group of Institutions, Ongole.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all applicants seeking admission to different programs offered by the college.

3. Reservation Policy

The college adheres to the reservation policy as mandated by APSCHE, providing reserved seats for various categories like SC, ST, OBC, etc.

4. Fee Structure

The fee structure will be as per the guidelines set by AFRC (Andhra Pradesh Fee Regulation Committee). Details will be provided at the time of admission.

6. Admission Notification

  • UG courses: APSCHE releases the notice to conduct the entrance test (Common Entrance Test - CET - APEAMCET for I st year B.Tech and APECET for Lateral Entry) as per the Government of Andhra Pradesh and AICTE admission and eligibility requirements.

  • PG courses: According to the admission and eligibility criteria established by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and the AICTE, the Andhra Pradesh State Common Entrance Test (PGECET) for M.Tech and the Andhra Pradesh State Common Entrance Test (APICET) for MBA and MCA is conducted by the APSCHE.

7. Eligibility Criteria

Undergraduate Programs

  • Completion of 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.

  • Concession will be given to SC/ST candidates.

  • Mandatory subjects: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

Postgraduate Programs

  • Completion of a relevant Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum CGPA of 5 or equivalent.

  • Additional eligibility tests may be required, such as [Name of Entrance Exam or GRE/GATE scores].

8. Admission Process for UG and PG Courses

CET QUOTA: Based on the results of the APEAMCET, APECET, APICET, and PGECET, the APSCHE commences the admission process by providing an official counseling notification that includes all necessary instructions.

MANAGEMENT QUOTA: Students can approach the institute with a valid score card of any qualifying entrance test or Direct admissions based on the pre qualified Eligibility for admission via management quota.

The institute verifies the required documents given by students in order to confirm their enrollment; after that, the Affiliating University confirms the allotment and issues a Registration Number to each student in the programme.

9. Admission Cancellation

  • Admission offers may be rescinded if any false information is discovered in the application.

  • Fees may be refunded as per the college's Refund Policy.

10. Appeals and Grievances

Applicants who wish to appeal against an admission decision may do so by submitting a written request to the Admission Office within 07 days of receiving the admission decision.

11. Amendments and Review

This policy is subject to periodic review and amendments to comply with legal requirements and to meet the evolving needs of the college also as when the policy of the Government changes.
